Your Choice Conveyancing is a small, experienced team based in South Australia, conveniently located just 15 minutes from the Adelaide CBD. We assist with the conveyancing of all real estate transactions across South Australia.
We understand that finding time for appointments can be challenging. Where needed, we’re happy to provide documents electronically or by post, allowing you to review and sign everything in your own time and in the comfort of your own environment.

Melissa Hayward
Proprietor and Registered Conveyancer
Melissa Hayward is the Proprietor of Your Choice Conveyancing and has been part of the conveyancing industry since 2001. After beginning her career in the Barossa Valley, she relocated to Adelaide in 2010 and has since built a reputation for providing friendly, professional service and a seamless client experience.
As the business owner, Melissa focuses on overseeing client care, business development and the continued growth of the firm, ensuring every client receives the high level of service that Your Choice Conveyancing is known for. While she remains actively involved in the business, she works closely with her team to ensure each matter is handled with care, efficiency and attention to detail.
With more than 25 years of industry experience, Melissa brings a wealth of knowledge to the business, including extensive experience assisting interstate clients with South Australian property transactions. Her ability to clearly explain complex processes in plain English helps clients feel informed and supported throughout their property journey.
Melissa is passionate about building strong relationships with clients and creating systems and processes that make the conveyancing experience as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Throughout her career, Melissa has been recognised for her contribution to business and the community, having been named a finalist in the SA Woman Awards in both 2019 and 2022. These nominations reflected her commitment to professional excellence, leadership and the continued growth of her business.
Outside of work, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband Sam and their daughter, listening to music, cooking, enjoying great food and making memories with family and friends.
Sara Cox
Senior Registered Conveyancer
Sara is a Senior Registered Conveyancer with approximately 20 years of experience in the conveyancing industry. She manages her own files from start to finish and plays a key role in guiding clients through the buying and selling process with confidence and ease.
With extensive experience across a broad range of property transactions, Sara works closely with clients, real estate agents, mortgage brokers and financial institutions to ensure each matter progresses smoothly and efficiently. Her thorough approach, strong communication skills and attention to detail allow potential issues to be identified early and addressed proactively, helping to keep transactions on track and minimise stress for clients.
Sara understands that buying or selling property is often one of life’s biggest financial decisions. She takes pride in providing clear advice, regular updates and practical support throughout the conveyancing process, ensuring clients always know what to expect and feel informed at every stage of their matter.
Known for her friendly and approachable nature, Sara has a natural ability to build rapport with clients and make what can sometimes feel like an overwhelming process much easier to navigate. Her calm and professional manner, combined with her extensive industry knowledge, ensures clients feel supported from contract signing through to settlement.
As a valued member of the Your Choice Conveyancing team, Sara is committed to delivering the high level of service and personal attention that the business is known for. She genuinely enjoys helping clients achieve their property goals and celebrating alongside them when settlement day arrives.
Outside of work, Sara enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active and making the most of the outdoors. Her determination and commitment are reflected both professionally and personally, having completed the Nike Melbourne Marathon in 2025 and continuing to pursue new running goals.
